Our quarterly retreats are a great way to sustain and reinvigorate your meditation practice or if you are new to mindfulness it provides a good foundation for practice.
What you will learn:
- Intro. to fundamentals of Mindfulness
- Connecting to your authentic self
- 3-minute mindful resilience practice used to calm mind and body during the difficult moments in your day
- The Practice of starting your day with mindful clarity (practice done each day for 10-20 minutes while your still in bed)
- Self-kindness and compassion Practice
- Mindful walking
- Mindful Yoga
- Mindful eating
Based on over thirty year of research the contemplative practices offered in this retreat are proven effective in reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, and help move us beyond fear, uncertainty, and attachment. Give yourself the gift of peace and well-being and join us for one or more of our quarterly retreats.
Mindfulness is the capacity to be aware of our moment to moment experience with less judgment, fear and grasping and developing our capacity for curiosity, kindness and gratitude. Instead of unconsciously reacting to life based on past habits and conditioning we learn to consciously respond to life with greater curiosity, openness, acceptance, and kindness. Cultivating mindfulness results in many benefits for mental and physical health, well-being, and happiness.
